Good questions
Answers before you ask.
The things Triangle homeowners ask us most about painting and flooring — answered honestly, in the order they usually come up.
How do quotes work — and do they cost anything?
Quotes are free and there’s no pressure. Call, email or stop by the showroom, we’ll talk through the project, and you’ll get an honest written price along with a plan in plain English: what’s covered, which products we’ll use, and how long it’ll take.
Do you do both painting and flooring on the same project?
Yes — that’s a big part of why people call us. Refreshing a room or a whole home usually means both walls and floors, and we handle both under one roof: one team, one schedule and one point of contact from quote to walk-through.
What paints do you use?
We use top-line Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore paints, and we’ll help you choose the right sheen for each space — flat, matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss or gloss. We tell you exactly which products are going on your walls before we start.
What flooring options do you offer?
Carpet (nylon, polyester, olefin and wool), solid and engineered hardwood, and luxury vinyl plank and tile. We’ll walk you through the real trade-offs — durability, moisture, comfort and price — so you choose with confidence. You can see samples in our Cary showroom by appointment.
Do you sand and refinish existing hardwood floors?
No — we install new flooring, including new solid and engineered hardwood, but we do not offer on-site sanding or refinishing of existing hardwoods. If that’s what you need, we’re happy to point you in the right direction.
How do you protect my home while you work?
Furniture and floors are covered, surfaces are prepped and repaired properly, and we clean up as we go. It’s the thing our reviewers mention most — careful, tidy, respectful crews who leave the place clean.
When do I pay?
Only after the work is finished, we’ve walked it together, and you’re satisfied. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express (card payments carry a 3% processing fee).
How long does a project take?
It depends on scope — a single room is quick, a whole exterior or a full flooring job takes longer. Commercial projects typically run one to three weeks. We’ll give you a realistic timeline with your quote, and keep you posted as we go.
Which areas do you serve?
Cary, Morrisville, Apex, Holly Springs, Raleigh, Garner, Wake Forest and Fuquay-Varina — across the Triangle, for homeowners and commercial clients alike. Not sure if you’re in our area? Just ask.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry general liability and workers’ compensation coverage, and every job is backed by our 2-year workmanship guarantee.
